ERT can restore up to 66% of worn surfaces, thereby improving the overall power balance of the engine.

If the engine is not properly managed, the engine will have a shorter life due to wear and tear. These phenomena include cylinder compression imbalance, reduced output, increased noise and vibration, increased engine oil consumption, and increased fuel consumption. In addition to visible wear and tear, fine natural wear and tear also occurs. Dregs formed at high and low temperatures accumulate in the lubrication system, cylinder and piston areas, resulting in microcracks and wear and tear.

Increasing the content of the ERT increases the engine pressure in proportion to the number of times it is used. The compression pressure increases by an average of 6% in the first use of the ERT and by 4% in the second use. Therefore, after two uses, the total compression increases by 10%.
